Betessläpp!

While visiting Östersund my Mom, Maria, and I went to see the cows get let out of the barn for the first time in 9 months. Here's some photos!
She wants OUT!

She wants FINGER!

Baby goat wants... Friend?

They want to know what this thing is.

They want to get their aggression out.

The one on the right wants to pick her nose.

The one on the left wants to scratch her face on the dirt.

Sunset in Sätra

Time to say bye to Kattson :(
So sad! WAHHHHH!!!

Good thing I moved to my friend's apartment (mine is being renovated) where there are a ton of cats!
Fat ones too!

The weather here has been AWESOME!
Here's my computer linguistics friends hangin in a strange UFO landing spot during lunch.

The weather has been conducive to lots of flowers!
and some nice bugs :D

OH NO!

My important camera parts constantly seem to go missing.
Right now, the battery charger is MIA!
Good thing my mom has an identical camera she doesn't use! So new photos when I get back to Stockholm.

But, at least my camera didn't get stoled by some one like this person's!

Valborg in Uppsala

Last Friday was Walpurgis night, but in Uppsala they don't just celebrate at night. Nope, they start off the morning at 9am with a big champagne breakfast.
Here's my Uppsala pal Othrex with his champagne, waiting for the others so we could walk to the river and watch...
people on homemade crazy looking floats with impending doom slowly approaching at the rapids!
We didn't see that though because we relocated to the park that must have been filled to the brim with 6,000 students drinking the day away in the PERFECT weather provided by the Walpurgis Gods.
My snacks!
There were so many people in the park it was impossible for people to find each other. We used my scarf tied around the tree as a landmark so we can show others, and ourselves, the way to our picnic spot.
I also got to wait in line for 30 minutes for the port-a-potty while doing a gotta pee dance.
Later we went to a reggae party.
There we amazingly found my language kompis Sergio totally randomly.
Phones didn't work all day because there were so many people using them.
People were in a really good mood there.
Swinging their bodies and dreadlocks to the beat...
Wow! In one picture, 3 white people with dreads! What if I had done a panorama?!
A guy jams out on his saxophone along with the tunes from the record player.
Meanwhile, I'm collecting money, aka cans!
All in all I collected about 80 cans and earned myself 40 crowns.
Photo cred to Othrex!
Thumbs up for Walpurgis!
