Yesterday

Here's some photos from University of Texas and the area around it.
It was actually kind of hot yesterday! Here's some UTers taking a break on campus, and there's the Texas capitol building in the background. It's bigger than the White House I've heard!
The same grassy spot from the other end. There's the famous UT tower that the sniper shot a bunch of people from in 1966.
An interesting talk I attended that I imagine only about 3 people I know would also consider interesting. :P
This BBQ shack is only twice the size of that ATM next to it!
In Sweden the combination is shoe repairs and locksmith in the same place, here it's saddles and boots!
One of the few buildings in Austin that have been forgotten while being built.
Texas life is awesome! There are free donuts everywhere you look :D
there's the previous building in the background
right across the street from campus!
Who is Tequila Mockingbird? That must be the coolest name ever!
I thought it was funny that the name is in Spanish. Are Mexican immigrants the main buyers of autos usados?
I think that metal is there to keep rats from climbing the palm tree :D
 Peace, Love, and.... Texas!
 Some Mexican restaurant's parking lot
It's a jalapeno wearing a sombrero!

Fried sides or... no sides! You pick.
Why not fried pickles as a side?
Here are these weird paying stations for parking in a privately owned lot. So outdated....
... you would think, this one looks awfully new. Don't forget to clear the slot!!!
We had to pee but didn't want our beer to be taken by a waiter so we left a note.

These photos are actually not from yesterday or from near UT but I'm throwing them in too...
At the Zilker Botanical garden they have an old Swedish log cabin :)
Hey cat! Her toes are funny lookin.
The multi-colored local eggs I bought
